EGT-TWINN project reaches its final milestone this December. On 10 December 2025, partners, colleagues and invited guests will gather in Tallinn for the official EGT-TWINN Closing Meeting at the Hestia Hotel Europa. The programme brings together all four partner organisations to reflect on the project’s achievements, scientific impact, and future cooperation pathways.
The day will open with welcome addresses from the Geological Survey of Estonia and the European Research Executive Agency, followed by presentations from each work package lead. The agenda includes an overview of project results, summaries of joint activities with BGS, GEUS, GTK and the University of Oulu, and a dedicated session on communication, dissemination and exploitation. The meeting will conclude with a forward-looking discussion on continuing collaboration beyond the project.
The event is organised by the Geological Survey of Estonia, with Heikki Bauert and Kairi Põldsaar coordinating preparations.
