Task 2.1: Scoping visit to assess skills, capacity, and data management at EGT

A detailed understanding of the current skills, knowledge, data architecture and data holdings of EGT will be crucial to providing the best training in WP2. To achieve this, UKRI and GTK staff will carry out an initial 3-day scoping visit to EGT. This will enable the partners to understand capacity and skills at EGT, and to understand the current data architecture, databases, geospatial data availablity and existing data management methodologies. This visit will inform and enhance the development of detailed training plans, which will be co-designed with EGT colleagues to ensure that EGT’s needs are truly met
