Critical raw materials are essential for the transition to de-carbonised energy and are a high priority for the European Union, as demonstrated by the EU Critical Raw Materials Act. Estonia is well known for innovation, and the country has many opportunities to engage along the critical raw materials value chain, from exploration and mining to innovative processing technologies. This conference will address all aspects of that value chain, with sessions focusing on geology and resources, new technologies for exploration, mineral processing, and environmental, social and governance aspects.
