Introduction to geothermal energy and aquifer thermal energy storage (ATES) in sedimentary rocks, part 2

6-9 November 2023
Participation is restricted to EGT-TWINN partner organisations
The second part of the EGT-TWINN project action 2.7.1 „Introduction to geothermal energy and aquifer thermal energy storage (ATES) in sedimentary rocks“ will be organised on November 6th–9th, 2023 at the GEUS office in Aarhus.
This training course will be participated by five geologists from EGT who are working on geothermal energy studies in Estonia and who are involved in writing the joint science papers with GEUS experts.
This training course will provide insights on Danish experience into the following topics: an overview of shallow geothermal in Denmark, data needed to plan a new geothermal plant, design of geothermal energy wells and well fields, drilling permit applications and geothermal energy well drilling,Thermonet concept applied in Denmark.
The action 2.7.1 also includes drilling site and geothermal plant visits.
