The EGT-TWINN project has received funding from the Horizon Europe funding program for research and innovation, Grant Agreement No. 101079459.

The project will contribute to the development of multidisciplinary research and innovation in geological studies in Estonia and enables Estonian Geological Survey (EGT) to enhance the scientific excellence of its personnel. The project facilitates the collaboration of experts from leading international research institutions.

IMPORTANT NOTICE! As the three year EGT-TWINN project (2023-2025) has now reached its formal conclusion, the website will no longer be actively updated. All materials, outputs, and information remain openly accessible and can be freely explored. EGT-TWINN Final Meeting in Tallinn: Reflecting on Three Years of Collaboration and Looking Ahead

The EGT-TWINN Final Project Meeting took place on 10 December 2026 in Tallinn, bringing together partners from across Europe for a final in-person reflection on three years of close cooperation, shared learning, and institutional development. Hosted at the Hestia Europa Hotel, the meeting marked the transition of EGT-TWINN into its closing phase, while clearly demonstrating that the collaboration it fostered will continue well beyond the formal project lifetime.

EGT-TWINN Closing Meeting brings partners together in Tallinn

EGT-TWINN project reaches its final milestone this December. On 10 December 2025, partners, colleagues and invited guests will gather in Tallinn for the official EGT-TWINN Closing Meeting at the Hestia Hotel Europa. The programme brings together all four partner organisations to reflect on the project’s achievements, scientific impact, and future cooperation pathways.
