We're thrilled to share the exciting insights from our latest endeavor under the EGT-TWINN project! Last week, the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland (GEUS) played host to an enthralling workshop in Denmark, welcoming esteemed geothermal energy experts from the Geological Survey of Estonia! 🌍🔍

In this immersive session, we delved deep into the world of statistical and dynamic modeling, honing in on their application within the realm of geothermal reservoirs. Our discussions were rich with exploration, as we navigated through various datasets crucial for effective geothermal reservoir modeling and meticulously outlined the principles guiding model construction.

From decoding data resolution intricacies to orchestrating dynamic simulations of water flow and temporal scaling, our dedication knew no bounds! A standout moment was when our dynamic modeling exercises projected the future temperature decline of rocks surrounding water-return wells, offering invaluable insights for optimizing borehole planning and dimensioning strategies.

This workshop marked yet another significant milestone in our collective journey towards advancing expertise in geothermal energy. We extend our heartfelt appreciation to GEUS for hosting this enlightening event and express our gratitude to our Estonian counterparts for their active engagement and invaluable contributions!

Exciting times are on the horizon as we continue to nurture collaboration and innovation within the realm of geothermal energy exploration. Stay tuned for more updates as we embark on this thrilling journey together!
